Heros Every Single Day

Today's youngsters doesn't have any goal , commonsense or any other aim in their life .. This would be the statement given by 40 plus men. People who would say like this kindly take a look at Erode Book Fair 2012

This week's budding champions and M/s. Never Give Up is awarded to the student wing in Makkal Sinthanai Peravai. They are not just students, yellow soldiers with discipline . Rain doesn't bother them, Sun doesnt  burn them. The way they embrace each other, help each other , pat their shoulder, encourage and motivate each other and the way they make the function successful ....

They are off-screen heros.
They are students with social care
They are pillars of the book fair
They are the best found volunteers

They are writers, orators and there are many other passion hidden beneath them. But they never show off their personal talents, they are all united just for a single cause. Make the function rock . They get such an experience in event managing, time management, money handling , friendship with different people. They are students from different colleges, different courses united under a single tree. You may ask what's the big deal in organizing?

These fellows dont get paid
They miss their classes
They work for their town
They work for the betterment of mankind
They work for free
They are people who need to be saluted with utmost respect

They inspire
THEY ARE HERO EVERY SINGLE DAY

It tastes bitter to be a common man.

It tastes bitter to be a common man.

Yes. It does. With all those philosophy books or the so called ‘personality development’ books, people have slowly started to understand that BEING UNIQUE is so important.

In the race towards success, we tend to lose our individuality. We are ready to lose our character for empty pleasure. You don’t get it yet?

The spirit of “I ought to be famous. I must look unique. People should recognize me.” can never get you ahead. For the sake of recognition one cannot master an art. You must have a passion driving you towards excellence in the art or skill.

I hope this happens in all colleges (at least in tamilnadu). As soon as students enter into the college, they are introduced to new clubs or societies (whatever you call it!) The college or the management aims at developing the skills of students in their fields of interest. But I don’t think this reaction goes right.

These clubs are governed and run by some ten students or so. Whenever there comes a call for competitions these people gather, lend money from the dean’s fund, and attend the events as if they are on a picnic (They participate in the events with a spirit to win and gain points to their college. No offence on that part.)

Students who’ve never been on stage in their school days gain a complex of inferiority. They struggle hard to find a place in these clubs. They start doing (trying would be more appropriate) what their friends or classmates do.

Imitation

One tries singing even though he knows his voice doesn’t suit for stages.

When a friend is seen to gain the attention of many, by writing poems, others try copying his style of writing. The object of thinking and imagination is totally lost.

One thinks for himself that he is good at acting and makes the public get irritated with the so called ‘jokes’

Losing your individuality and imitating others for the sake of recognition!

Stop acting and start thinking.

Everyone has an inner potential.

You do.

Search within yourself for that little thing.

Be yourself. 

Be proud of being yourself.

When you don’t find anything, don’t worry. 

Your friends gain recognition just because of your support as audience. 

After all, it doesn’t taste bitter to be a common man.

Perfectionism

PERFECTIONISM

The society expects perfection in EVERYTHING. Not only in his home, one expects perfection in neighbourhood too.  Now that’s something wrong. There’s no wrong in being fastidious in the things you buy. When you expect perfection in people, they simply  avoid you.

When I say am interested in writing short poems, they simply ask “Oh! That’s nice! Common tell me a poem on “ME”!!”

Does every famous poet have the skill to write instantaneously?

When people don’t know ANYTHING about something, they simply relate it to what they merely know about some other thing.

Here it goes!

When I say am doing B.Tech Food Process Engineering, people hardly understand. I waste my time thinking how I could describe my course of study in simple terms. I tell them about dairy technology, bakery and few popular brands of processed products.

They just reply, “Oh! So you’re doing catering! Say so!” or

“Hotel Management? Tell me in simple words na!” These ones are just bad.

Still Worse replies are there. “Why take such a course? Dint you get an engineering seat in the local college at least?”

P.S : Dear friends, please stop caring to reply these dumbos!

The evilest question that the today’s college students face is “Have you been placed in the campus interview?”

When the answer is NO, then comes the next life threatening question. As if they really care, “Oh that’s bad! Your parents have invested so much money educating you. Don’t spoil their name.”

Even if your mom and dad had some faith that our son would seek a job and prosper, they’d lose hope hearing such words. You’d look like a dumb idiot in front of those unworthy aunts whenever you meet them at occasions. This is why majority teens avoid coming to family functions these days.

Stop acting like you care for our family.

I appreciate your son was the state rank holder, studied in the MSU and was placed in the best organization with a lakh monthly salary and is perfect to the core.

I cannot meet your standards. Stop now you big ladies to expect perfection out of everything.

And your standard of perfection is the ultimate level of human stupidity.
